OMR Group and Changan, one of China’s leading automotive manufacturers, are expanding their regional cooperation to Croatia. A distribution agreement for Changan vehicles in the Croatian market was signed at the Paris Motor Show, as OMR Group continues to develop the distribution network for the brand across southeastern Europe.
The agreement was signed by Jovan Mijailović, Director of Corporate Development at OMR Group, and Ethan Yin, Executive Deputy General Manager of Changan Europe.
“The entry into the Croatian market marks a continuation of the expanding cooperation between OMR Group and Changan, following the establishment of a distribution network across six Western Balkan markets outside the European Union, as well as in Slovenia. Croatia becomes another market in the regional network, and this move represents an important step in further positioning OMR Group as Changan’s partner in southeastern Europe,” said Jovan Mijailović.

Auto kuća Kovačić, a local partner of OMR Group, will play an important role in developing the business in Croatia, with cooperation focused on building a sales and service network that will support the growth of the brand and provide long-term support to customers in the Croatian market.
As a European Union member state and one of the more significant automotive markets in the region, Croatia represents an important step in the further expansion of Changan’s presence in Europe and in OMR Group’s regional strategy.
The official launch of the Changan brand in Croatia is planned for January 2027, when details of the offering, sales network and brand development plans for the market will be presented.
The partnership in Croatia is a continuation of the long-term cooperation between OMR Group and Changan, aimed at developing a strong regional distribution network and bringing modern automotive technologies closer to customers across southeastern Europe.
